The invention concerns particles for use in delivering a distinct and enhanced taste sensation to a drink, while not impacting the taste of the drink itself, wherein the particles are adapted for floating on or being suspended in a drink without dissolving in said drink, and wherein said particles comprise at least one flavor component incorporated therein. The invention further concerns a drink comprising these particles and a method for its preparation.
