PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small, lightweight and inexpensive battery holder device without damaging an erroneous connection preventing function. SOLUTION: As for a structure A in which a plurality of batteries to be contained are serially arranged and connected, insulative partition plates 33 which have openings 39 for receiving positive electrode parts of the batteries by partitioning between each two batteries and have a thickness T smaller than a height of the positive electrodes are provided. All or a part of the partition plates 33 are made movable in a direction of the thickness T, and hook parts 333 which are protruded in the direction of the thickness T and hooked on the protruded sides of the batteries are provided at the partition plates 33.
