PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control an external device for general purpose and to extend and control a function according to the external device.

SOLUTION: This system is provided with: an external device connection means for connecting the external device; a first driver storage means for storing a first driver for controlling the connected external device for general purpose; a judging means for judging presence/absence of a second driver in the external device for controlling the connected external device characteristic to the device; an obtaining means for obtaining the second driver from the connected external device when the judging means judges that the second driver exists; and a second driver storage means for storing the obtained second driver.
