摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel tipping mechanism which is capable of making up for the tipping speed change of a panel caused by the mounting position of a cabinet. SOLUTION: The panel tipping mechanism of an electronic apparatus works in such a manner wherein the elastic force of a spring is made to act in the direction in which the panel 1 is tipped, the panel 1 is tipped while controlling its tipping speed by dampers 4 and 5, and a lever 6 is perpendicularly suspended in the cabinet. When the cabinet is arranged in a horizontal position, the force of gravity acts much in the direction in which the panel 1 is opened, but a damper gear 4a is engaged with the lever 6 so as not to turn around, so that the relative rotational speed of the second damper 5 becomes high, and large torque works. When the cabinet is arranged as it is tilted, the force of gravity acts a little in the direction in which the panel1 is opened, but the damper gear 4a is not engaged with the lever 6, so that the relative rotational speeds of the dampers 4 and 5 become low, and working torque becomes small as a whole.
