PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk which can perform accurate reading and writing of data by preventing occurrence of large deviation in an optical disk except for a deformation mode, even if the optical disk is rotated at high speed. SOLUTION: In an optical disk device 10 which is provided with a tray 20 having a placing part 22 formed to a concave shape to place an optical disk 40 and a top case 30 provided so as to cover the placing part 22 of the tray 20, and which writes data in the optical disk 40 and/or reads data of the optical disk 40, a projection part 80 extended near an opposing edge part 40b of the optical disk 40 placed on the placing part 22 of the optical disk is formed at the top case 30.
