PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clogging preventing device of a fuel filter having a constitution where handling is easy and manufacturing cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: A thermo valve 10 has a return fuel inflow channel 15 connected with a return fuel flow channel 24 from a fuel injection pump 2, a return fuel outflow channel 16 connected with a return fuel flow channel 25 to a fuel tank 1, and a filter direct connection channel 17 connected with the fuel filter 5. When the temperature of the fuel in the fuel filter 5 is lower than a predetermined temperature determined as a temperature at which solid composition does not precipitate in the fuel, a spool 12 is located at a position where the return fuel inflow channel 15 communicates with both the return fuel outflow channel 16 and the filter direct connection channel 17. When the temperature of the fuel in the fuel filter 5 is higher than the predetermined temperature, the spool 12 is located at a position where communication of the return fuel inflow channel 15 with the filter direct connection channel 17 is broken, and the return fuel inflow channel 15 communicates with only the return fuel outflow channel 16.
