PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily mount a first switch and a second switch, attach the first and second switches by reducing the axial thickness of a shift lever, and improve layout flexibility. SOLUTION: The shift lever has the first switch mounted on the upper surface of a base plate in the front side of a second shift hole of a vehicle, and the second switch mounted on the upper surface of the base plate in the rear side of the second shift hole of the vehicle. A flat spring elastically attached to cover the first and second switches is mounted on the base plate. The first and second switches are thereby held between the flat spring and the base plate.
