PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To represent an internal state of a robot, efficiently using a built-in device and an available external device. SOLUTION: An application program 12 that is built in a robot device 11 outputs a designation of an internal state to be represented to a behavior selecting means 13. The means 13 uses program holding means 15, prohibited device holding means 16 and external device holding means 17 to select an internal state representing program to be run and outputs it to behavior executing means 14. The means 14 executes the selected program, outputs a command to built-in device controlling means 19 and outputs communication information to an external device 200 via a communication device 21. External device searching means 18 detects an external device 200 that is available via the device 21, creates list information and registers it in available-device list information in the means 17.
