The method involves providing digitized data, such as CAD data or vector data, to visualize the components of a vehicle. The visualized components are then moved or changed according to a tracer list for preparing the vehicle repair process. Graphic data are provided to visualize selected steps of the repair process. The digitized data are provided in an arrangement corresponding to the arrangement of the vehicle components. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) Data providing apparatus for visualization of vehicle repair process; and (b) Computer program used in the visualization of vehicle repair process.
