Two lateral parts (12, 13) of the drill bit (1) provided with cutting areas at the top are joined with a slightly diagonally inserted bolt in order to expose a prismatic gap for the accommodation of the lower area of the cutting insert (3). The tensioning device acts axially into the prism, simultaneously centering the crest (22) of the cutting insert (3) and pressing the inner surfaces of the outer sections (12, 13) against each other.
