<p>A repeater testing system is provided with transmitting/receiving sections (3 and 4), a repeater to be tested provided with a route control section (2), a first testing device (10), a second testing device (11), an inputting means.(12) for inputting a first virtual network into the device (10), an inputting means (13) for inputting a second virtual network into the device (11), and a route control table provided in the transmitting/receiving section (3) and containing the section (4) to be sent in accordance with address information added to the data inputted into the section (4). The test data sent to the virtual network in the second testing device (11) from the first testing device (10) is received by the device (11), and the received test data are confirmed. Therefore, the facility cost and installation space of the testing system are reduced remarkably and the performance of a repeater can be evaluated in a large-scale network environment.</p> |
