Wireless access system for Internet

摘要

The system has an access point with a transmitter/receiver apparatus coupled to a fixed telecommunication network. The apparatus wirelessly exchanges digital signal to a distant portable computer. The access point is integrated in a public phone (PP) that authorizes an Internet access against a prepayment component e.g. prepaid card. The computer is coupled to the Internet through a modem coupled to the public phone network. The wireless access points are distributed in places e.g. shopping center, hotel, exposition, station, car parking of airport or public park. An independent claim is also included for a method of connection of a users portable computer with a system of public Internet access.
