DNA sequence encoding pyranose oxidase, novel constructs of a recombinant DNA and recombinant microorganisms carrying such sequence

The present invention concerns a nucleotide sequence with the size 1869 bp, wherein the nucleotide order is identical with the order of a nucleotide sequence encoding pyranose oxidase of the Trametes multicolor MB49 strain, optionally in fragments of such a sequence with the length of at least 150 nucleotides. The sequence can be used for the formation of a DNA construct, optionally a construct being provided with at least one regulating sequence controlling production of a polypeptide exhibiting pyranose oxidase activity. The sequence can represent a part of a recombinant expression vector consisting of the above-indicated construct, a promoter, a translation and transcription stop signal. The invention further relates to a recombinant bacterial cell containing a nucleic acid construct being supported on a vector or being integrated into a cell genome and the Escherichia coli BL21/DE3 strain containing a sequence of nucleotides encoding production of pyranose oxidase and being isolated from Trametes multicolor MB49 strain and being carried by the pSE33 plasmid.
