Te present invention discloses an improved method for the synthesis of pentahydrated sodium pentaborate {NaB5O8 5H2O}, which consists of reacting decahydratated disodium tetraborate (DTBD, Borax); ortoboric acid (OBA, boric acid). The process takes no more than five days long, and there is no need of fungal strains. It also refers to the product obtained by this method, which is intended to improve the immune system in bacterium and virus conditions. Furthermore, refers to its pharmaceutical compositions and use.
