PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic opening and closing device of a vehicle sliding door incapable of being inverted by an overload invertible function even if the sliding door is forcedly opened when the body is subjected to an excessive shock. SOLUTION: An automatic opening and closing device of a vehicle sliding door includes a sliding door for opening, closing and moving along the side of the body 1, a sliding door driving device 7 for opening, closing and driving the sliding door based on driving force of a driving source 7f transmitted through a clutch device 7e, a moving signal generating device 10 for generating a signal according to a moving direction of the sliding door, a shock detector 9 for detecting the fact that the body gets an excessive shock and a sliding door controller 8 controlling the driving source 7f and the clutch device 7e to control driving force transmitted to the sliding door driving device 7, and when the shock detector 9 detects an excessive shock, the sliding door controller 8 releases an overload invertible function for inverting and moving the sliding door when operation resistance of the sliding door is increased. |
