Method and system to establish meter readings

Method for meter reading acquisition in which a customer is required to read a meter current reading and report it back to a collecting center. The initiating request for a meter reading is made by a computer (4) with a speech output module. Reporting can be by phone, mobile phone, SMS or fax. An Independent claim is made for a system for acquisition of meter readings with a speech output computer.
