PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing artificial marble top plate to simplify the process by avoiding removal of a protecting film, rounding, sanding and polishing processing. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of: providing a artificial marble raw plate having a protecting film attached to its gloss surface; processing grooves(120a,130a) on the surface opposite to the gloss surface except connecting pieces(120b,130b); heating the connecting pieces; and bending the heated connecting pieces to fold the raw plate forming the shape of top plate. The method also comprises cooling the heating portion and neighboring portion to prevent the heat transfer to the periphery. |
