<p>The storing and transporting container or box (1) has two oppositely disposed hinge-mounted lid halves (6a,6b), the free edges of which overlap along the closing line. Corner locking devices are formed by protrusions (11) on one of the lid halves and openings (12) on the other lid half into which enter the protrusions.
