<p>The invention relates to a filtration module for purifying waste water. Said module comprises a plurality of filter membrane pockets having at least one opening (21) for draining the inner region of the same. Said pockets are vertically arranged in a rigid supporting element (11, 12) in a parallel manner, preferably at the same distance from each other, in such a way that the gaps between adjacent filter membrane pockets can be intensively crossed by a liquid. According to the invention, the filtration module is characterised in that the filter membrane pockets are essentially plane and flexible and are fixed to the supporting element on opposite sides, said supporting element comprising at least one evacuation line (20) for evacuating the liquid which is sucked out via the filter membrane pocket openings.
