The connecting device is operated by high hydraulic pressure. It has a sealing device (5, 7), which is on the inside of the engraving (2) of the deforming tool (1) either side of the press fit position for the joint, and which is integrated into a sealing module which is inserted in a recess (3) running round the engraving of the deforming tool.
