METHOD OF CASTING UNDER ELECTROMAGNETIC PRESSURE

Invention relates to the branch of foundry production and it can be used for obtaining of castings mainly for aluminum alloys. The method of casting under electromagnetic pressure includes the supply of liquid metal with the help of electromagnetic pump to the foundry mold according to the flow chart of casting under low pressure through distributed gating system, the replenishment of installation by liquid metal during hardening of the casting under electromagnetic pressure and maintaining of the melt level in the gate channels between fillings. The level of liquid metal in the gate channels is modulated according to the amplitude of electromagnetic force created by electromagnetic pump.
