The method involves detecting a size representing an impulsive or vibratory stress and applying an adjustable supplementary compression constraint to a building during a determined duration to reduce sensibility of the building to the stresses. Sum of a continued compression constraint and the adjustable supplementary compression constraint is greater than a maximum continued constraint admissible on each unit of the building. An independent claim is also included for a building having a system of stabilization of the building submitted to an impulsive or vibratory stress. |
