A rotatable input device for an entertainment machine, such as an arcade or home gaming machine, is also able to generate a second input. The device may be a cylindrical knob 104a which may be pressed, or a rotatable collar 302 with a cylindrical button 304 positioned inside. Pressing produces the second input signal. An electrical circuit is described (fig 4), and the second signal may latch or may relate to the length of time the button or knob was pressed for. The device may be translucent and illuminated by LED's. |
