PROCESS FOR RECOVERING A POLYMER FROM A SOLUTION

A method of recovering a polymer from solution in a solvent as a homogeneous medium by adding a non-solvent to the homogeneous medium to render it heterogeneous, atomizing the heterogeneous medium into droplets, contacting the droplets with a gas which vaporized the solvent and recovering the polymer in the form of particles. An Independent claim is included for a powder of porous, substantially spherical, particles of polymer obtainable by the method and with an average diameter below 100 mu m.
