METHOD FOR STUDYING THE ANISOTROPY OF THE DIELECTRIC PROPERTIES OF SOLIDS

The proposed method for studying the anisotropy of the dielectric properties of solids, specifically crystals, in a wide temperature range consists in measuring the permittivity and dielectric dissipation along different axes of the coordinate system that is coupled with the solid at different temperatures. For the measurements, a cylindrical sample is used. The present invention provides a possibility to simplify the method due to that all the measurements are accomplished by using a single sample.
