MEASURING DEVICE FOR DETERMINING ACTIVITY OF OXYGEN IN METAL OR SLAG MELT

The proposed measuring device for determining activity of oxygen in metal or slag melt contains an electrochemical detector. The detector contains a tube, which is made of solid electrolyte and closed on one end, and an electrode. The electrode is installed in the tube on the open end and projects outside of the tube. The proposed device is distinctive by that that the outside surface of the tube is coated with mix of calcium circonate and fluoride.
