PURPOSE: A high frequency plasma display panel and a method and an apparatus for driving the same are provided to reduce the number of elements including the photo coupler since it is driven by the data driving integrated circuit. CONSTITUTION: A method for driving a high frequency plasma display panel includes the steps of: supplying the data pulse to the data electrode line formed on the first substrate at an address period(APD); and alternatively supplying the first and the second triggering pulses to the scan electrode line and the sustain electrode line formed on the second substrate facing with the first substrate at the triggering/sustain period(SPD).
