PURPOSE: A method of making a bathing agent containing substances purported to have health benefits such as herbal materials, seaweeds, vegetables, animals and mushrooms is provided. The product promotes metabolism and enhances disease resistance. CONSTITUTION: The bathing agent is prepared by fermenting and extracting a substance purported to have health benefits. The substance purported to have health benefits contains cereals, fruits or the like. The cereals contain rice, glutinous rice, barley, wheat, millet, oat, cowpea, buckwheat, sorghum, mung bean or the like are mixed with dietary fiber, vegetables or the like. The fruits and herbal materials contain plums, ginger, ginseng, red ginseng, grapes, pears, apples, persimmons, apricots, wild grapes, water melons, bananas or the like.
