PURPOSE: A separation type curtain airbag for a vehicle is provided to efficiently and safely protect passengers in front/rear seats by separately controlling the curtain airbags installed at the front/rear seats. CONSTITUTION: A separation type curtain airbag for a vehicle is composed of a first diffuser(210) disposed from a front pillar(110) to a center pillar(130), a first cushion(230) sealing the first diffuser, a second diffuser(310) disposed from the center pillar to a rear pillar(150), a second cushion(330) sealing the second diffuser, inflators(250a,250b) for supplying gas to the first and second diffusers, and a control unit. The control unit outputs a control signal to the inflator. |
