PURPOSE: A tread rubber composition is provided to improve dimensional stability, abrasion resistance, cutting and chipping resistance and gasoline mileage without deterioration of other properties by employing rice hall powder. CONSTITUTION: The tread rubber composition comprises 100 parts by weight of a rubber; 5-25 parts by weight of rice hall powder; and 0.5-3.0 parts by weight of tripiperdinylsilane. Preferably the rice halls powder has a particle size of 0.01-20 micrometers, a specific surface area of 1.45-1.50 m¬2/mg and a real specific gravity of 0.88-0.91 g/cm¬3.
