PURPOSE: A device for preventing slabs from zigzag piling up in tongs crane is provided to prevent slabs from zigzag piling up by eliminating swing. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing slabs from zigzag piling up in tongs crane comprises driving cylinders(2) movably fixed in the outside of a tongs base(18); middle working arms(3) movably fixed in the edge of each cylinder shaft(2a), wherein the middle of the working arms is fixed in the tongs base(18); bar shaped link parts(4) movably fixed in the lower part of the working arms(3) and extended to the lower part; center arms(5) movably fixed in the lower part of the link parts, wherein the middle of the center arm is movably fixed in the lower part of the tongs base(18); supporting rollers(6) fixed in the lower part of the center arms(5).
