The decorative and transparent screen is made from a mesh of warp (LC) and weft (LT) filaments coated with a polymerizable binding agent (2). The binding agent is polymerized by heat, fastening the mesh filaments together without blocking the mesh. The screen is designed to take print (11, 12, 13), e.g. by ink-jet, and its lower edge can be weighted.
