Alkyd paint and varnish composition comprises alkyd resin as a film-forming agent, highly active hydroxyl-containing oligomer, pigments, vehicles, organic solvent, additives and water. Composition comprises oligomer as highly-active hydroxyl-containing oligomer with hydroxyl number 140-180 mg of KOH/g, with molecular mass 1000-3500 Da and viscosity value 500 250 sPz by Brookfield.
