MEDIUM FOR STEM CELLS IN REGENERATION OF INTERVERTEBRAL DISCAND REGENERATION OF INTERVERTEBRAL DISC USING STEM CELLS

A medium for stem cells to be used in regenerating intervertebral disk which contains an autoserum prepared by sterilizing and immobilizing the serum of an individual having the intervertebral disk to be regenerated, a medium for ce ll culture and at least one antibiotic; and a method of regenerating intervertebral disk which comprises suspending stem cells, which have been collected from the subject or another individual of the same or different species, in the above medium or embedding the stem cells in a cell carrier, either directly or after culturing in the medium for stem cells to be used i n regenerating intervertebral disk, and then transplanting the stem cell suspension or the embedment thus obtained into the marrow cavity of the intervertebral disk.
