METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF FLAVONOID-CONTAINING COMPOSITIONS AND USE THEREOF

The invention relates to a method for producing plant extracts having a standardized flavonoid content, particularly a standardized luteolin content. According to said method, plant material of Reseda plants, which is pre-extracted with water, is extracted by means of a solvent and then concentrated. The obtained compositions are suitable as pharmaceutical or cosmetic products and as dyes. The invention further relates to the use of Reseda extracts for treating skin diseases.
