摘要 PURPOSE: A joint between a steel upper structure and a reinforced concrete lower structure in a rahmen composite bridge is provided to improve the earthquake resistance by unifying upper and lower structures, to prevent the fall of a bridge in an earthquake, and to cut down construction and maintenance expenses. CONSTITUTION: The joint between a steel upper structure and a reinforced concrete lower structure(3) in a rahmen composite bridge is attached to the lower part of a lower flange of a horizontal beam(5) and provided with many studs(6) which are arranged downward from the lower part of a skirt plate(8) contacted with the side of the lower structure(3) and the lower flange of a steel girder(9). Wherein the upper structure contains a steel girder(9) extended along a bridge, a horizontal beam(5) putting across the steel girder(9) and many vertical stiffeners(4) arranged downward on the horizontal beam(5), and the lower structure(3) is located on the same location as the horizontal beam(5) and provided with main reinforcing bars(7,7') extended from the lower structure(3) to the upper structure.
