A rear end small revolving type hydraulic shovel allowing the maintainability of an engine to be improved and a large space to be secured at the foot of an operation stand, wherein the engine (13) is disposed under an operator's seat (21), a front partition wall (33b) and an upper partition wall (33a) for the engine are formed of a floor frame (30) supporting the operator's seat (21), the floor frame (30) is formed so as to be tilted upward, and a pipe (42) and wiring (46) connected to a device (41) on the floor frame (30) side are disposed to pass in the vicinity of the axis of a tilt-up supporting point.
