摘要 PURPOSE: Electric adsorption and desorption type deionizing method and apparatus using active carbon electrode and ion exchange membrane are provided to increase inorganic ion removal ratio by solving conventional problem of low removal ratio when removing inorganic ions and efficiently purify water by shortening regeneration time. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus is characterized in that a discharge direction supporting body(10), a positive current collector(12), an activated carbon positive electrode(16), an anion exchange membrane(18), a spacer(22), a positive ion exchange membrane(24), an activated carbon negative electrode(26), a negative current collector(28) and an inflow direction supporting body(30) are sequentially arranged horizontally or vertically in such a way that they are parallel to each other. The method comprises the process of removing inorganic ions existing in water by electric adsorption and desorption and the ion exchange principle using ion exchange membrane and activated carbon electrode to which 1 to 5 volts of direct current voltage is impressed.
