PURPOSE: A device and a method for presuming performance by using a pattern analysis are provided to reduce a time and an expense needed for making a sample and measuring the performance of the sample by analyzing the pattern of a product design spec and generating an estimated performance result without making the sample. CONSTITUTION: A client(10) inputs the design spec of a product to be designed through a central web page(11) and confirms the estimated performance according to the inputted design spec through the central web page. A server(20) provides the central web page, performs a performance estimating simulation depending on the pattern of the inputted design spec, and transmits the estimated performance result to the client. The server comprises a performance estimation driver(22) proving the central web page, performing the performance estimating simulation, and transmitting the result to the client, a pattern analyzer(21) analyzing the pattern through the test data stored in the server, and a database(23) storing the test data.
