FIELD: optical communication systems including phase-modulated systems for homodyne reception. ^ SUBSTANCE: communication line that has transmitter shaping coherent reference and modulated beams and receiver wherein phase fronts of these beams are aligned including output data signal separation; coherent reference beam is shaped by means of coherent radiation source that irradiates beam splitter; in the process one part of coherent radiation is reflected by beam splitter and other part arrives at reflecting phase modulator; phase fronts are aligned at output of communication-line sending part optical system; in transmitter optical beam is conveyed to photodetector matrix where interference pattern is formed in its plane; electric signal proportional to modulating signal is picked off each group of photodetector matrices and passed to device that functions to determine ratio of these signals. ^ EFFECT: enhanced noise immunity of communication channel. ^ 1 cl, 2 dwg |
