The invention relates to a knee-joint endoprosthesis comprising a tibia part, whose tibia plateau consists of two sliding partner sections, one of which is configured as a bearing plate and the other as a sliding part that can be pivoted about a guide on said bearing plate. A femur part is pivotally mounted on said sliding part. The guide is configured as a prominence that is connected in a fixed manner to one of the sliding partner sections, said prominence projecting into and being guided in a recess that is provided in the other sliding partner section. The endoprosthesis is equipped with a locking mechanism, configured as a crown of projecting elements that extend around and are connected to the prominence, to prevent an inadvertent separation of the sliding partner sections. Said crown penetrates openings and emerges into a cavity, which permits rotational displacements of the crown. The openings are provided in an edge area that surrounds the recess. When the sliding partners are rotated against one another, the elements are locked in a covering area situated between the openings. The femur part consists of a femur bearing part and a post, which can be attached to the femur bearing part by means of a connection. The latter consists of a lower connection part that can be attached to the femur bearing part and an upper connection part that can be attached to the post. The lower connection part has a perpendicular mounting position and the upper connection part an incline that corresponds to a required valgus position. |
