摘要 FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a new method for the combined preparing 1,1,3-trialkyl-1,5-pentanediols of the formula(1): ^ ^ and 1,1,4-trialkyl-1,5-pentanediols of the formula (2): ^ ^ wherein values R, R1 and R2 in formulas (1) and (2) are similar and taken among R that means n-C4H9, n-C6H13; R1 means CH3, C2H5; R2 means C2H5, n-C4H9. Method involves interaction of alpha-olefin of the general formula: wherein R means n-C4H9, n-C6H13 in atmosphere of inert gas with triethylaluminum in the presence of zirconacene dichloride Cp2ZrCl2 as a catalyst in the following mole ratio of components: : AlEt3 : Cp2ZrCl2 = 10:(10-14):(0.3-0.7), respectively, at room temperature. Then reaction mixture is cooled, copper monochloride is added as a catalyst and ketone of the formula: R1C(O)R2 is added also wherein R1 means CH3, C2H5; R2 means C2H5, n-C4H9 in the mole ratio CuCl : R1C(O)R2 = (0.8-1.2):(10-14), respectively, then mixture is stirred at room temperature followed by oxidation of reaction mass and its hydrolysis.
