A powder impregnated to improve the biodispersibility and/or solubility of an active material comprises: (i) an inert solid support impregnated with; (ii) a liquid medium having a hydrophobic phase; (iii) an optional hydrophilic phase; (iv) a surfactant; (v) the active material dissolved in one of the phases; and; (vi) the active material in suspension in one of the phases.
