PURPOSE: A broadcasting signal recording method in a home network is provided to allow a user to record a broadcasting signal of a predetermined channel the user is watching with a simple operation using a recording device. CONSTITUTION: A video/audio output device controls a recording device to record a broadcasting signal of a predetermined channel a user is watching when a recording command is input while the user receives the broadcasting signal through the video/audio output device and watches a broadcasting program corresponding to the received broadcasting signal. The video/audio output device transmits audio data and video data of the broadcasting signal of the predetermined channel to the recording device using a streaming function to record the broadcasting signal(308). The video/audio output device transmits information of a channel the user currently receives and watches to the recording device, and the recording device receives and records a broadcasting signal of the channel based on the received channel information.
