PURPOSE: A door phone system for storing and reproducing a still image and a voice message of a visitor is provided to reduce the size of a storage device by displaying still images one by one or several still images simultaneously, and selectively confirming voice messages corresponding to the displayed still images. CONSTITUTION: A video display(22) displays image data of a visitor output from a door camera(20) on a screen, and outputs voice data output from a door mike(21) through a speaker so that a person who is in the house talks to the visitor. A video decoder(23) converts analog image data of the visitor into digital image data. An AD(Analog-to-Digital) converter(24) converts analog voice data of the visitor into a digital voice message. A memory controller(25) captures one frame from the image data for storing the frame as a still image applied with a specific identification number, and stores the voice message applied with another specific identification number corresponding to the specific identification number applied to the still image. If a reproducing signal is inputted from an operating pad(25c), the memory controller outputs the still image and the voice message. A scaler(27) controls resolution of the still image to be appropriate for resolution of a reproducing apparatus(26). A DA(Digital-to-Analog) converter(28) converts the digital voice message into the analog voice data.
