The aim of the invention is to treat particles in such a way that said particles are stabilised in liquid mediums, such as lacquers for instance, as dispersed particles. The invention relates to a method for coating particles with LCST polymers. The inventive method is characterised by the steps a) dissolving an LCST polymer in a solvent and at a temperature below the LCST; b) mixing the solution obtained in step a) with the particles to be coated and c) increasing the temperature of the mixture obtained in step b) until LCST polymers start depositing on the particle surfaces or longer.
