摘要 <p>A polytrimethylene terephthalate (PTT) fiber which is made of polytrimethylene terephthalate comprising 95 mol% or more polytrimethylene terephthalate repeating units and having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.7 to 1.3 and which has (1) a degree of crystalline orientation of 88 to 95 %, (2) an extremum of dynamic loss tangent, (tandelta)max, of 0.10 to 0.15, (3) a temperature for the extremum of dynamic loss tangent, Tmax, of 102 to 116 degree C, (4) an elongation at break of 36 to 50 %, (5) an extremum of thermal stress of 0.25 to 0.38 g/d, and (6) a coefficient of dynamic friction between fibers of 0.30 to 0.50. It can be produced through stable drawing and has excellent processability. The PTT fiber can be produced by spinning a melt of PTT having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.7 to 1.3 at a take-off speed of 2,000 m/min or lower to obtain an undrawn filament and subjecting the filament to drawing and heating with a drawing/twisting machine.</p>
