FIELD: mechanical engineering; gas-turbine engines. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed compressor of gas-turbine by-pass engine contains housing of adjustable guide-vane assemblies which forms, together with intermediate housing, a common rigid module, drive of adjustable guide-vane assemblies, power cylinder arranged over second circuit and coupled with drive by radial transmitting member. Power cylinder and radial transmitting member are arranged on outer rim of intermediate housing of common rigid module. Radial transmitting member is made in form of shaft installed on two support bearings and provided with levers rigidly secured on its shaft ends, levers connect shaft with its drive and power cylinder. ^ EFFECT: reduced fire hazard, improved accuracy of drive and its reliability in operation, increased serviced life of device. ^ 2 dwg
