PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily change an existing fan into a fan with a magnet to eliminate sway in rotation of a fan main body. SOLUTION: The magnet 15 for detecting rotation is attached to the fan 6, which is provided with the fan main body 10 and a pulley 11 for driving the fan main body 10 by a belt. The pulley 11 has a pulley part 11a for stretching the belt around and a hub part 11b connected with the fan main body 10. The hub part 11b is fixed to the fan main body 10 to provide an interval 13 in the axial direction between the pulley part 11a and the fan main body 10. A magnet case 14 is attached to the outer periphery of the hub part 11b so that it is positioned in the interval 13, and the magnet 15 is stored in the case 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
