<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program judgment operation device capable of eliminating miss assembling of a component to the device body, a printer, and a method of operating judgment of a program. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 13 reads shipment destination information from a CGROM 22 and compares shipment destination information of a program stored in a flash ROM 17 with the shipment information in the CGROM 22. When the information is different from each other, the CPU 13 judges that a wrong operation panel 8 is attached and stops the operation of the printer 1 and displays the error indication on an LCD 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
